We price fixed projects, not monthly retainers. Starting prices for a scoped first release; complexity, integrations, billing and store requirements can take the total higher. We firm the quote after discovery.

- 2Bugs reaching production is how many issues your users typically report or your team discovers after a release, without any QA gate.
- 3Hours to fix per bug covers investigation, fixing, code review, and re-testing after a production defect is reported.
- 4QA catch rate is the percentage of those bugs a QA engineer would catch before they reach production. Industry average is 60-80%.

Do you build apps from scratch or only work on existing products?
Both. We take greenfield ideas through discovery and into a first build, and we also join existing codebases to add features or improve what is already there. For existing products we usually start with a short technical review before committing to estimates.
Why React Native and Expo rather than fully native iOS and Android?
For most products, React Native with Expo is a practical way to ship iOS and Android from one TypeScript codebase, which usually costs less than building two fully native apps. Expo also covers a lot of build and release plumbing. Where a feature genuinely needs native code, we add a native module rather than forcing a poor fit.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. Work is committed to your repository, or to a repository we transfer to you. Engagements include handover notes so your team can continue the work.
What do fixed Next.js or mobile app projects cost?
We work on fixed projects, not monthly retainers. Discovery & Prototype is £3,950 (approx. $5,000 USD). Next.js and React web projects typically start from about £9,000 (approx. $11,700 USD). React Native / Expo apps for iOS and Android typically start from about £14,000 (approx. $18,200 USD). Both scale with complexity. We firm the number after a short discovery or technical review. Test automation suites typically start from about £4,950 (approx. $6,450 USD) for a fixed scope covering critical journeys, framework setup and CI integration. Manual / pre-launch QA typically starts from about £2,950 (approx. $3,850 USD). Accessibility audits typically start from about £1,950 (approx. $2,550 USD). Suite size, browsers and legacy debt can take the total higher. We firm the quote after a short review of your product and pipeline.
Do you offer one-off testing engagements?
Yes. Project-based testing, automation builds, accessibility audits and pre-launch reviews are quoted as fixed scopes, separate from product builds when that is all you need.
What technologies and platforms do you work with?
Day to day we work with React Native and Expo for mobile, and Next.js, React, Node and TypeScript for web. Data usually sits in Postgres or Supabase, with deployments on Vercel or your existing cloud. For automation we specialise in Playwright, Cypress and Selenium, and we can work with Appium or k6 when that fits your stack.
How quickly can you get started?
If capacity is free, discovery and fixed build projects often start within about a week of agreeing scope. We will not over-promise a start date before we have checked availability.
Do you sign NDAs and comply with data regulations?
Yes. We sign NDAs when needed and work within GDPR and the data rules that apply to the engagement.
Is performance and load testing available as a standalone service?
Yes, as a scoped add-on or separate engagement. Typical work includes load scenarios with k6 or similar, Core Web Vitals checks, and a written list of bottlenecks and recommended fixes.
Can you test mobile apps without an existing build contract?
Yes. Pre-launch or release mobile testing for iOS and Android can be quoted on its own, including device checks and, where useful, Appium automation.
