- Next.js gives you server rendering, routing, API endpoints and a build pipeline in one framework, which means faster first loads, better SEO and one codebase instead of a separate frontend and backend to keep in sync. With the App Router you can fetch data on the server where it belongs and ship less JavaScript to the browser.
- We own the whole thing: the database schema and migrations, the Node backend and API layer, authentication and permissions, third-party integrations, the React frontend, and the deployment pipeline. You get one team accountable for the product rather than a frontend agency blaming a backend contractor.
- Postgres by default, usually via Supabase or a managed provider, because it is dependable and your team can hire for it. We deploy on Vercel with a preview environment for every pull request, so stakeholders can click through a change before it merges. If you need to run somewhere specific such as AWS or Azure, we work with that instead.
- Yes, and a good share of our work is exactly that. We start with a technical review covering architecture, dependencies, test coverage and performance, then agree the highest-value work first. We leave the codebase measurably better than we found it.
- Yes. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA as standard because we run an accessibility scanner as one of our own products, and every project ships with automated tests and CI on each pull request. Quality is not a phase we bolt on at the end.
